That quote stays with me, always. Imagine, your child is possessing of a brain scan that says he or she should not be alive; should not be able to breathe, to eat, to see, to hear, to feel, to know, or to love... where will that child be if that is how they are treated? Sadly, many children who receive a diagnosis of hydranencephaly are treated just as their scans display, as a hopeless cause without an ability to live a quality of life worth allowing to be. Instead, medical professionals should deliver the diagnosis with the possibilities available... followed with the implantation of a mentality that their child will be sure to guide them where they want to go.
